Hello Paul,

I have found a great place to use Showtime outside of wp. I’ve tried to load it up but keep getting errors after editing the xml.

Is there step by step instruction sheet/link you can direct me to? I’m trying to add pages for each hair stylist listed with a slide show.

Hi, great plugin, the best for photos I ever seen
I have a problem with flickr: I added the url from my album and the one from your example, but mine stops a the first photo, and I don’t know why.
This is what I wrote:

Thanks for the plugin. I’ve used it before no problem. However, I’m trying to upload a flickr set as a slideshow and I can’t get it to work. Black screen only. I have obtained the rss feed for the set etc… any tips?

Forgot. Nicety… Uploaded photos to my WP page and then erased from the “Visual” side (but still remained on the html side) publish the page and then I end up with standalone slideshow… thanks

I may need to jump over to java to be able to see the slides on the iphone but I will find a use for Showtime and remember to donate. It’s the best slide show I’ve seen and there are a lot of them. Thanks again for all of your hard work! Peace! -wendell

yes, it works outside wordPress. Use the showtime.swf and the data.xml file. Edit the XML file to point to the image files.

hello, it looks like there is a problem with your width and height setting. This is what the generated width looks like: “"326"”.
Make sure there is no quotationmark in width/height settings or try to enter the shortcode this way: [st width=326 height=326]

ok, I “fixed” the problem by hardcoding params.wmode = 'window'; in place of params.wmode = '$wmode';. It’s working the way I want it now. Thanks again for this fabulous plugin and special thanks to Google for it’s infinite wisdom

hi, great job with the plugin, I really appreciate your work. The plugin works great on every browser except for firefox 3.6 on win xp (it's flawless on ff on mac, btw). The thing is when I use the shortcode it seems to be working fine but when I code it into my template the flash movie doesn't play (see the example here). I have the newest version of flash installed, set the wmode to window, my server is running php5 and I checked every other hint from the comments and still no luck. I'd appreciate any suggestion.

Hi, Thanks for the great plugin, is there anyway to remove the .circle ‘timer’ when the slideshow is set to automatically run through the images? I tried to add a css class of visibility:hidden to the .circle but no luck.

I love this plugin. It makes my site spectacular. I’m so impressed that I sent in a token donation.

My only problem is the transparent setting in Firefox. Once that page is cached, you no longer see the slideshow. All you see is a blank box where the slideshow should be. Deleting the cache restores the slideshow.

It seems like this is a common problem around the net with Firefox. The solution (discussed here) is to declare wmode twice.

Will you be issuing a fix for this?

I don’t see that is works currently, but would it make sense to be able to link image ID rather than page/post id?

It seems limiting to only be able able to link to page/post and there would not be an ability to build multiple shows some of which containing some duplicate images.

Example:
Page A with ST show – with 3 linked images
Page B with ST show – with 5 linked images
Page C with ST show – with an image from A and one for B and a few of it’s own linked images.

Hi Paul,

I just install your plugins because i want to have a slideshow exactly like example no. 2.
But i can’t managed to get that result.

two main problems that i think i got here:
1. i can’t easily attach (not insert) an image to a post/page
2. i use [st] but the only thing showed up at the page was a small clickable thumbnail.

Please advise..:) and fyi, i’m new into this web dev…:)

there are a couple instances where it is looking for a directory under the root threadinginaz.com, however the root is actually mzj.bizsitesnow.com (but is displays as threadinginaz.com because the domain mapping plugin)

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? How do I fix that?
